ADK Notebook Wish List

I’ve had the idea to put a travelogue up on my site for a while now. I started to implement one a couple times but it never seemed to work out. As I was coming back from my last trip to the Adirondacks though, I got thinking “Wouldn’t it be great if there were a hiker’s travelogue website — a place where people could write notes about my trips and read about others’ trips?”

So that’s what I’m doing. I’ve registered adknotebook.com and I’m starting to collect ideas for what you’d like to see. I’ve got some ideas as for what I would like to see — trip notes, GPS data, photos, etc. — but I would love to hear what’s important to you.

Senator Dorgan’s New Website Launches

Senator Byron L Dorgan broke into some new territory today… and I helped! What I’m talking about is his brand spankin’ new website that launched today that I built the templates for (Mike actually assembled most of the pages). “So what,” you might be saying, “what’s so cool about that?” Well, I’ll tell you: it is the first CSS-based website in the U.S. Senate and it’s entirely valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, and compliant with current Web standards. Go ahead, have a look. =)
